Stress Doesn’t Stand a Chance Against Those Puppy Eyes

When the day gets one down, it’s time to get some down time with that puppy gazing adoringly at its owner. Or put some time in petting that perfectly playful purr factory called a kitten. It doesn’t matter so much when the world gets one down when a person knows they are loved.

Pets are wonderful for loving us just the way we are no matter what we do or how we act. Pets don’t care about perfectionism. A little petting, a lot of loving, some play time, and the pet worships its owner forever.

So when someone feels stressed out beyond belief, when confidence and courage take a beating, it’s time to realize as a pet owner you hang and set the moon, sun, and stars in the sky for someone. That someone is the loving companion and pet.

Age doesn’t matter. Size doesn’t matter. How good or how bad someone perceives their own self-image doesn’t matter. All it takes is to just look into the eyes of one’s pet and know how very vitally important every pet owner is to their companion. Enjoy the love of your pet, let the stress melt away under the salve of love.
